Discover how our expert team utilizes specialized tools like infrared cameras and blower door tests to diagnose energy inefficiencies and provide customized solutions for a healthier, more comfortable home.

What Is a Mass Save Home Energy Assessment?

A Mass Save Home Energy Assessment is a thorough evaluation of your home’s energy performance, conducted at no cost to you. This assessment serves as the initial step towards improving your home’s efficiency and reducing energy costs. During the assessment, our expert team utilizes specialized tools to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions, including:

  1. Infrared Cameras: We use infrared cameras to detect areas of energy loss caused by gaps, cracks, and leaks in your home’s insulation. This technology also helps us analyze the effectiveness of your current insulation and identify areas of moisture intrusion.
  2. Combustion Safety Test: Part of your home energy assessment includes a Combustion safety test to verify that atmospherically vented combustible appliances are working properly and not venting dangerous gases, such as carbon monoxide, into your space

After completing the Mass Save Home Energy Assessment, our team will provide you with a customized plan of action to improve your home’s energy efficiency and comfort. Routine recommendations may include insulation upgrades to prevent heat loss, HVAC system replacements for increased efficiency (such as heat pump installations), and other energy-saving solutions.
